Poker is a game of both skill and chance. You are playing on the random dealing of the cards and then using the skills you have either learned, or perfected, to win each hand for the cash prize. The thrill in poker is that each hand if different from the last and you never know what the other play has. You must use technique and skill in order to either build a better hand or bluffing your way into beating a better hand.
You could learn from one of the most popular sites, poker stars, cheats as they call them, for how to better play each hand. Or you could spend time learning about the game online through tutorials that are either written, or in video form. One way to learn how to play poker is also through poker video games. Not to be confused with video games for Nintendo, or PlayStation, a poker video game is much different. Some can be played on free game sites, but the truly best video poker games are played at online casino sites with their software.
The reason that online casino sites present a much better poker video game is for the same reason they excel at other casino type games. It is their business. They offer free online games, in all forms of casino type games, for people to learn how to play them before betting money on them. Signing up for a membership doesn’t mean you have to spend money to learn the games.
Poker can be a challenging game if you don’t know the ins and outs, or the subtle intricacies, involved in each hand. Knowing which type of hands to build, how to build them, when to build them, and which cards you will need to help you win more and more poker. A video poker game can help you not only play the game, but instruct you on some of these points.
In a friendly game with the guys on a Wednesday night, playing for a few bucks here and there is a fun thing to do. Knowing how to win your fair share of the hands is also quite enjoyable. Take some time to learn the poker stars “cheats” or sit down with a video poker game. Your time will be well spent and you never know… you just might learn enough to play in a real, high stakes tournament for real money.

Poker has been a game that people have enjoyed playing for many years. The personal interaction of one player versus another relying solely on skill and maneuvering has been something that has been appreciated since the great players of the wild west sat down across from each other in barrooms across the country. For many years the game remained unchanged; however, the development of the internet has changed all of the preconceptions about the way that the game is traditionally played. This development has changed not only the way that poker games are traditionally played, but also how people all over the world view this classic strategy game.
In recent years there has been an increase in the number of poker card game programs that are available to people who enjoy playing poker. This is because many have found that the face to face interaction that used to be required to have a good poker match is not necessarily the case anymore. You can have a highly involved game of poker against skilled opponents from all over the world without ever having to leave your home computer. This means that a game that was traditionally reserved for highly skilled players is now more widely available to players of every class and distinction.
This flood of poker flash games online has helped to bring a whole new audience to the game, revitalizing it in a way that will help to insure its continued survival. Something that you should consider when you are looking for a good place to find an online poker game is using a poker db (database). These sites are designed to help match up players with the perfect kind of poker game for their needs and playing level. Not only this, but some poker db sites on the internet also offer extensive tracking and recognition of players, helping to make sure that their achievements are recognized on some kind of scale.
While poker flash games are the latest incarnation of the longstanding game (which has arguably been around since at least the fifteenth century), you should know that poker is primarily based on a combination of bets, ranking hands, and the ability to lie. As such the transition to a digital media seems a little odd, but the truth of the matter is that the online world of poker is still a formidable opponent that will continue to expand in future years.

Learning a new game can be difficult; especially if you’re seated at a table with masters of the game who are going to take you for every cent you’re worthwhile “teaching” you the basics of that game. However, when it comes to poker, many people have discovered that by playing poker free online games, they can master the basics of this popular card game while at the same time keep track of their money and not lose it all.
Before you even log in to one of these poker games, you will find that the internet is a huge resource for learning about poker and its many different versions—five card stud, Texas hold ‘em, and many, many other poker games exist, and learning all the rules and tricks to winning each version can take some time. However, just about every poker games rules can be found somewhere online, whether it’s on a poker playing website or on an informative site. Any of these sites can give you an idea of the basic rules and how to play the game.
However, when it comes to poker, just reading the rules isn’t enough. You’ve got to actually get out there and play a few hands to really get a feel for the game. That’s why poker free games are so popular. Even the most novice player can join an online poker game and get in the action right away. There are some games out there that require no money to play, and they’re the perfect type of free online games to get new players started. Once you’ve played for a time and have learned how your poker game of choice works, you may want to take the risk and move to games that actually require you to buy chips using your credit card or PayPal account. These online poker games can be a bit more stressful since real money is on the line. Remember, though, that since you can lose money, you can also win money.
As with any game you play, it’s very important that you get the basics down. Before you start playing for cash, take the time to learn the rules of poker. With the internet, it is very easy to jump into an online poker game before you really know what you’re doing, and while you can learn that way, you may find that the lessons are quite costly if you’re playing for money.

If you’re going to a casino for the first time, there are certain pieces of knowledge that you might want to research before you go. There are a lot of different games in the casino to choose from, and if you’re uncomfortable playing any of the various table games then you always have the option of playing at one of the lost machines or the video terminals, however, dollar for dollar nothing beats the excitement of playing at one of the classic table games. That is why, before you even go through the door for the first time it can be very helpful to do some homework, like learning the roulette wheel layout, before you actually step up to lay your first bet, or to learn the proper gestures for staying and hitting during blackjack.
However, learning those things can be quiet simple compared to trying to learn the rules craps has. Craps is derived from an older dice game called hazard, which was even more complicated, but craps itself can seem a bit overwhelming at time to people. It is easier than it seems however, and if you can, go to the casino and ask them when they have craps lessons, which they do often. If not however, keep some of these things in mind.
The most basic bet in craps is called the pass line bet. When you bet on this, you are going to win instantly if the roller gets a 7 or an 11, and lose if the roller gets a 2, 3, or a 12. Any other number becomes the “point”. Now, the shooter, (the person with the dice) will continue rolling until they either roll the same number that was established as the point, or until they hit a seven. If they hit a seven, the pass line bets are lost, but if they hit the point again before they hit that 7, then they win if they bet on the pass line. There is also a bet called the “don’t pass” line, which pays out in essentially the exact opposite manner as the pass line bet.
The rules for craps are more complicated than this, but understanding the pass line and don’t pass line bets are what you need to get started playing. After you spend some time at the table you will quickly see the other bets people are making and catch on to the nuances and the rest of the details which flesh out the game.

If you want to win more often, you have to rely on skill. Luck revolves around the idea of a table or machines getting hot, which doesn’t happen that often.
Roulette, poker, and blackjack, these are all games that, with some skill, you will have a greater chance of winning. Online slots, however, is a game in which you have no say over the outcome. Although you can win a lot of money playing slots, you can also lose a lot of money and no amount of skill will shift the advantage in your favor.
If you want to win more often at the casinos, then I recommend building your skills, and playing games that allow you to utilize those skills.
Casino Games That Require Skill: Blackjack. Blackjack is a relatively easy game to learn. There are many online blackjack strategy guides that, will help increase your chances of winning! The average blackjack player guesses when to hit, and when to stand. The experienced blackjack player knows when to hit, and when to stand, all based on a winning blackjack strategy guide. This translates into more wins over a longer period of time.
Roulette. Even though roulette is a game of luck in a lot of instances, it does require some skill, knowing which bets are good, which ones are bad, winning depends on what wagers you make. I’d much rather play roulette than slots. At least if I loose while playing roulette, I know that it was because of my bad selections, not because of conditions out of my control.
Poker. Its very self-evident that the game of poker relies on skill, and a bit of luck. When a poker player is great, they are almost unbeatable. They are usually in the final three of every major poker tournament. If you are serious about winning, you should really spend your time developing your skills and strategies. After all, the more skill you have, the more often you are going to win.
Most online casinos nowadays offered attractive sing-up bonuses as well as first-deposit matching bonuses. You can find some great, downloadable software, all for free on a number of sites like Golden Eagle Casino, Golden Moon Casino or Golden Nugget Hotel.

Of all the hands dealt in video poker only 21% are winning hands. The remainder, which is 79%, are losers. The smart video poker player knows what he must do with about 70% of the hands dealt so that it can become a winning hand.
There are some effective video poker tips in this article. When building your own video poker strategy be sure to follow these tips. A good strategy will increases your odds of winning in online video poker or offline video poker. Find a machine that pays out nine for a full house win and six for a flush win. It’s very important! Find and play on a video poker machine with the lowest wager possible if you are new to video poker.
Before playing on the higher wager machines wait until you have more experience. A good trick is to verbalize every hand you get. Remember you’re not playing against another person, the machine doesn’t care if you are “playing too slow.” Take your time, be sure about your next move before you take it. Many new players fall to recognize that the Jack is the most important hand in the deck. Unlike traditional poker where the Ace is king (so to speak) A Jack provides you with many more hands than a Ace does.
The varieties of video poker you can play are almost endless, but they all have their own pay tables that require specific strategies. The best way to start is to limit your choices to two. The best way to improve your game is by playing on your computer or at online casino using play money. If you train this way, you get to practice your skills risk free.
Here are some basic video poker strategy tips:
1. Don’t ever hold a joker with your pair. This reduces your payout by 5%
2. If you can get a Royal Flush by drawing 3 cards do not Draw 4.
3. Always stay on a winning five-card hand except in a case where you can get a royal flush with one card.
4. Never break a flush to draw a straight flush even with one draw.
5. Always break a flush to draw a royal flush.
6. Don’t break a straight to draw for a straight flush.
7. Don’t draw five, if you’re holding a 5 or better.
8. Never leave a ten on a four card draw. And the main tip: control you bankroll. Video poker and every other gambling games should be considered entertainment. I know that Lady Luck comes to players who enjoy video poker.
Get your free video poker software downloads from sites like Free Yahoo Games Online, Free Yahoo Games or Free War Games.

Playing slots on the Internet is much the same as playing slot machines in more traditional casinos. You put coins in a slot, pull a lever, and hope the same pictures on the reels all line up. However, online slots give you the convenience of being able to play without having to leave your home, any time of the day. And on most sites, the payout is set as high as the highest machines in Las Vegas.
Like its real life counterpart, online slots are one of the most popular casino games. Many people find slots less stressful and easier to play than games such as blackjack and roulette. They are a simple, carefree games. If you have never played online slots, you may want to start by finding a site that lets you play with virtual money. That way you can familiarize yourself with the game without losing money. Once you are comfortable playing, you can start playing with real money.
Just as with traditional slots, when playing online slots you get the potential to make money, but you also have the potential to lose money. Check into sites to find out which have the highest payout percentage. Many people worry that they may get cheated; but these machines are powered by random number generators, and the results of every game is completely random.
If you go to reputable sites, you do not have to worry about being cheated. The best way to avoid scams is to read reviews and try multiple sites. Some people also worry about using their credit card online. Again, if you do research and go to reputable site, you don’t have to worry. Your credit card information will be sent over encrypted connections. Just to make sure, do a spyware and virus scan on your computer before putting in your credit card number anywhere on the Internet. Just as with factual life slots, there are different types of online slots.
Although all online slots are really just visual representations of three, and five reel slots, they all have very real slots jackpots. Do not worry about what type you play, just be sure to always have fun! You can find free slot software on sites like Casino Slots Online, Casinos Slots or Charlestown Slots.

Roulette is often said to be the casual casino player’s game of choice. It’s quite easy to walk up to the roulette table and simply place a bet - at the roulette table, no one is typically sitting down, and there is no maximum number of players - so it’s almost as though you’re always welcome at the roulette table. Additionally, it’s an easy-paced casino game that just about anyone can learn the basics of by just watching a few spins.
The game of roulette is a negative expectation one - i.e. over the long run you are expected to lose. Here are a few things you should know in order to at least get better looking odds than anyone else at the roulette table. On American roulette tables, all bets calculate out to the same house edge of 5.25%. The single exception to this rule is the 5-number bet, which has an even worse edge of 7.29%.
How then can you get better odds? Here are a few tips:
1. Keep an eye out for is a rule called ‘surrender’. Surrender is available at many casinos. The rule only applies to outside even money bets, and it doesn’t affect the edge of your whole session. This rule simply cuts your losses in half in the instance of a green pocket hitting. So if you’re betting an even money outside bet and a double zero or zero hits, you only lose half of your bet, not the entire thing. This of course pulls the house edge on outside even money bets down to 2.63%, which is definitely a lot better.
2. Look out for the single zero roulette wheel, i.e. the European roulette wheel. A European roulette wheel has a single zero pocket, and no double zero. There are only a total of 37 pockets left on the wheel, which does cut the casino house edge. This small and subtle shift lowers the house edge on all bets (not just the outside even money ones) to 2.70%. Very very nice.
Hopefully you’ve found our roulette information useful. If you haven’t already done it, you should try playing roulette at your favorite online casino via sites like: Winning at Roulette, Vegas Roulette or Rules Roulette.

Does a Caribbean stud poker strategy exist that will make the house’s edge reasonable? Unfortunately, the answer is no unless the jackpot is at a high level. To explain further… Caribbean stud Poker offers a sizable house advantage of over 5% - not in terms of cards but by way of the betting structure. The fact that you MUST bet three times in order to stay in a hand definitely does not help your advantage. The times that the dealer does not qualify (44% of the tim), you only win your ante - which in most instances isn’t very much. On the other hand, if you decide to fold, you lose your ante and the round is over.
For Caribbean stud poker, there is no room for ‘dumb’ play - the house edge is already high enough to take care of that. Despite the overwhelming house advantage, there are a few little things that you can do to better your odds, here we go:
1. Always fold if you hold nothing.
2. If the setting isn’t right, don’t make the bet.
3. Always make the bet with a pair of better.
4. If you hold ace-king, make the bet if one of your other three cards matches the dealer’s up card.
5. Make the bet if you hold ace-king-queen or ace-king-jack when the dealer’s up card is any of your five cards.
Most all online casinos now offer you a free bonus deposits. Some are known as sign-up bonuses, here if you deposit a certain amount of money the casino will match it the first time (up to a set limit) these types of bonuses tend to stay in the hundreds of dollars. Past types of free money amounts can be anything from 20 - 50 dollars, and even much more depending on your sign-up deposit - so be sure to cut out good online casino reviews.
Caribbean stud poker is typically available at your favorite online casino. It and other casino favorites such as the slots and roulette can be played directly online. Try it for yourself if you haven’t already via sites like 888 Pacific Poker, Adult Poker Games or All Stars Strip Poker.

Sic bo (also known as tai sai, dai siu, big and small or hi-lo) is an ancient Chinese game that’s played with dice and has been played for money from as far back as thousands of years ago. The word ’sic bo’ actually means ‘Dice pair’. Today sic bo is likely to be available at your favorite online casino, as well as in land-based gambling hot spots such as Las Vegas - although it may be a bit difficult at times to find the sic bo tables at a casino because they won’t be as prominent as the slot machines or blackjack tables. The sic bo tables are usually tucked away in some corner of the casino - along with other popular Asian gambling games.
Much like in roulette sic bo offers you the option of placing many different types of bets. Players place their sic bo bets by placing chips on different spots on the table (much like is done for roulette). You place your bets, the dice are rolled and you win or lose. The losing bets are collected by the croupier and the winners are paid. Sic bo is as simple as that. Although there really isn’t much strategy to sic bo, it can be a fun game to play.
Below is a list of the sic bo bets that you can make. The payoffs on some bets will vary from casino to casino, so for those bets a range of viable payoffs is indicated.
* Small: Wins on total of 4-10, except for a 3 of a kind. Probability of winning is 48.61%. Pays 1 to 1. House edge is 2.78%.
* Big: Wins on total of 11-17, except for a 3 of a kind. Probability of winning is 48.61%. Pays 1 to 1. House edge is 2.78%.
* Total of 4 and 17: Pays 50 to 1 in Macau, 60 to 1 in Atlantic City, and 62 to 1 in Australia.
For free Sic Bo software downloads, please visit the Play Sic Bo web site.
