Here are a few blackjack tips that we hope you’ll find useful.
1. Use basic blackjack strategy - because it reduces the house edge to less than 1%. Of course, the house edge will be lowered to that level only if you are flawless in the use of basic blackjack strategy.
2. Play at blackjack tables where the dealer must stand on all 17s. This reduces the house edge a little - compared to situations where the dealer hits soft 17, which actually increases the house advantage.
3. If you don’t know how to use the insurance bet, don’t attempt use it – it’s one of the worst at the blackjack table. It may seem like a good bet in the beginning, but once you really think about it and calculate a few numbers, there’s too much of an edge against you, so stay far away from it.
4. Play against as few decks as possible. It’s always at your advantage to do this.
5. Don’t be greedy. One thing that can destroy you when gambling is greed. When playing blackjack you should set limits for yourself and set aside a certain amount to gamble and once you’ve lost that, head for the exit. Don’t get sucked in, thinking that if you play long enough you’ll win back the money you have lost – it never usually works that way. Think similarly when you’re winning. If you have won a certain amount and you’re above what you have set aside for the night, simply put it in your pocket and forget it for the rest of the night. That way, you might surprise yourself in the end.
Hopefully you’ve found these blackjack tips useful. If you haven’t already done it, you should try playing blackjack at your favorite online casino. Some selections would be Blackjack Book or Blackjack Card.

At a glance, the game of craps may look complicated, but in actuality it is really quite simple. Here’s a simple craps game flow for you to grasp:
If the come-out roll is a 7 or 11 (which craps rules label a natural) the don’t pass loses and the pass line wins. The shooter (person rolling the dice) has another chance to set a point and rolls another come out roll immediately. If the come-out roll is a 2, 3, or 12 (called ‘craps’) the don’t pass line wins, or ties and the pass line loses. The don’t pass bet is a tie when the come-out roll is a 12. The shooter once again gets another chance to set a point. In order to pass the dice along the shooter must first set a point, and then ‘7-out’ by hitting a seven before he/she hits the point number again.
If the come-out roll is a 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, or 10 then that number becomes known as the ‘point’. The dealers will then place a little puck with the word ‘ON’ written on it and put it on top of the number that is the ‘point’ on the layout. This is just to remind players that the session is on, and what the point number is. Before the dealer did this, the puck would have been just off the table with the ‘OFF’ side up. Any don’t pass line or pass line bets at this point are in a state of limbo, waiting for more action to determine their outcome. Do you have a craps strategy? We’ll discuss this further soon.
The shooter will keep rolling until one of 2 things happen: if they roll the number that they had set to the point (i.e. they made the point) the don’t pass bettors lose and the pass line bettors win. If a 7 is rolled before the point number is rolled (which is called 7-out), the winners are the reverse: don’t pass bettors win and pass line bettors lose. In both instances, the round is over. How’s that for simple craps game play.
If you haven’t already done it, you should try playing craps at your favorite online casino. Check out Win At Craps, Street Craps or Shooting Craps for more information and free craps software downloads.

The fact that people don’t really understand how online slot machines work in regard to the Random Number Generator (RNG) leads players to rely on several myths to control their play. Here are four of the most common.
1. Someone hit a jackpot on the machine you just left; you would have gotten that jackpot if you kept playing. The RNG in all online slot machines is constantly calculating numbers whether the machine is being played or not, it never stops. When you press the spin button, the slot machine picks the combination at that exact given time from the RNG. If you had continued playing the slot machine, it is unlikely that you would have stopped the RNG at the ask microsecond to display that exact same combination of numbers, as the person who won. Both you and the other player would have effectively had to hit play at the exact same time that’s within 1/1000 of a second. The odds of this happening are greater than winning the jackpot. In conclusion, don’t feel bad about the player who hit the jackpot after you, it was pure lady luck and nothing more!
2. You can calculate the odds of winning by counting the symbols on each wheel. T he slot machine you are playing may have 15 symbols on each reel and by counting the symbols you would get odds of winning at 1:3,375 (15×15x15). However, what you are missing is the virtual stops on the reel. Next time you are playing pay attention to where the symbols stop, you will notice that the symbols stop at varying positions. These are referred to as virtual stops and there can be 100 or more per reel. This means that at 100 stops per reel the odds of winning the jackpot is 1:1,000,000 (100×100x100) which is more in line with reality. At odds of 1:3,375 The casino would be bankrupt in no time.
3. Casinos can transfer percentage payouts just like in land based casinos, online casinos can not just change the payout of a slot machine at a whim. Each slot machine is painstakingly programmed to have a certain payout. The programming in most online casinos is done by a third party who leases or sells their online casino package to the operator who changes the graphics and create the atmosphere but has no control over the actually functionality of the slot machines. These third party companies are usually public companies and they are not going to risk their profits for anyone.
4. Online Slot Machines That Have Not Paid Out For While - The Jackpot Is Next! Each spin of some online slot machine is random and is unrelated to the previous spin. The length of time a slot is played without successful has no influence on whether it is going to payout. Any slot machine can go months or years without paying its top jackpot. It maintains the programmed payoff percentage simply by paying smaller wins. Get your free software downloads at Lucky Dog Casino, Lucky Lanes or Lucky Star Casino.

Of all the hands dealt in video poker only 21% are winning hands. The remainder, which is 79%, are losers. The smart video poker player knows what he must do with about 70% of the hands dealt so that it can become a winning hand.
There are some effective video poker tips in this article. When building your own video poker strategy be sure to follow these tips. A good strategy will increases your odds of winning in online video poker or offline video poker. Find a machine that pays out nine for a full house win and six for a flush win. It’s very important! Find and play on a video poker machine with the lowest wager possible if you are new to video poker.
Before playing on the higher wager machines wait until you have more experience. A good trick is to verbalize every hand you get. Remember you’re not playing against another person, the machine doesn’t care if you are “playing too slow.” Take your time, be sure about your next move before you take it. Many new players fall to recognize that the Jack is the most important hand in the deck. Unlike traditional poker where the Ace is king (so to speak) A Jack provides you with many more hands than an Ace does.
The varieties of video poker you can play are almost endless, but they all have their own pay tables that require specific strategies. The best way to start is to limit your choices to two. The best way to improve your game is by playing on your computer or at online casino using play money. If you train this way, you get to practice your skills risk free. Here are some basic video poker strategy tips:
1. Don’t ever hold a joker with your pair. This reduces your payout by 5%
2. If you can get a Royal Flush by drawing 3 cards do not Draw 4.
3. Always stay on a winning five-card hand except in a case where you can get a royal flush with one card.
4. Never break a flush to draw a straight flush even with one draw.
5. Always break a flush to draw a royal flush. 6. Don’t break a straight to draw for a straight flush.
7. Don’t draw five, if you’re holding a 5 or better.
8. Never leave a ten on a four card draw. And the main tip: control you bankroll. Video poker and every other gambling games should be considered entertainment. Online gambling is the newest player in America’s debt indiscretions. Now by visiting a simple website players can now gamble online, from online slots to tournament blackjack. With these new outlets, chronic gamblers are finding it harder to stay away from the computer.
The Internet creates a new problem for online gamblers, and poses a threat to their self-control and judgment. Since online gambling offers the convenience of never having to leave your home it’s easier than ever to hide a gambling addiction. You can lose yourself for hours in front of a computer, which can have drastic effects on your interactions with others.
Another issue with online gambling is that you don’t feel the sting when you start to loose money. In a land based casino you see your stack of chips or bucket of coins gets smaller and smaller. At an online casino it is very easy to miss the small numbers in the corner getting lower and lower. However one major advantage online casino have is that most do not directly accept credit cards like land based casinos do. This means it’s far more difficult to use debt to gamble with.
Online gambling is not restricted to just online casinos with their slots and table games but also encompasses sports betting. Now you don’t need to visit or call you bookie and be limited to the sports they support. Now you can login and make wagers on anything from horse racing in the US to a cricket match in India.
Despite the glamorization of gambling by TV with shows like Las Vegas and coverage of the World Series of Poker, gambling is a serious past-time that has real consequences. When these consequences are not understood or ignored then regardless of whether you play online or in a land based casino you are going to have serious problems. Please visit Games of Poker, Games Online Free or Games Roulette for more information.

Does card counting work? Yes. In the 9 years that I worked as a blackjack dealer, I saw a lot of hopeful schemes and ideas, and while many failed, some of them really did work. Card counting, while uncommon, has a proven track-record of making money for those who are willing to do it right.
Card counting is a little too involved to teach in a short article, but that’s not what this article is about. Before you learn the specific skills, you need to know what it will involve to really do it right, before you decide if it is worth the venture. That is what this article is about.
Card Counting 101. In the game of blackjack, card counting is a technique for ?beating the house.? Using this technique you make more money than you lose in the long run, but not necessarily on any given day. You beat the house by playing in such a way that the odds are in your favor. How do you determine when the odds in your favor? You watch and track the deck. When the deck is has a high number ?rich? of high-value cards (10,J,Q,K,A), the odds are slightly in favor of the player. while statistically true, how much in favor of the players the odds shift is dependant on the “house rules” (number of decks, shuffle position to name just a few) of that particular online casino.
The basic idea is to monitor the cards as they come out, and when the deck has more high-value cards than low-value cards in it, you would bet more. When he deck contains more Low-Value cards than High value cards you would wager less. In other words, you should make money in the long run. The above is a simple explanation, and you will need to study a good counting book to make this work. First you need to know ?basic strategy,? meaning you need to know when to take a ?hit? and when to stand. Your play has to be precise to really have the edge. You also need to practice at home for hours.
It can be tough at first to track of all those cards flying out of that shoe, while the other players talk and waitresses interrupt you. The ?counting? is essentially assigning a value to the cards and tracking that value. This is done most easily at tables where the cards are dealt face up (except the dealer’s ?hole card?). Aces and face cards are assigned a value of -1, two through six are valued at +1, and seven, eight and nine are considered neutral. Watching the cards, you add and subtract their values, wagering the table minimum all the while. When you arrive at a predetermined value, let’s say +7, you increase your wager. The higher count means that there is a higher percentage of high-value cards in the deck than normal. Which means that the odds are in your favor.
One counter used to sit and wager the table minimum and count by shifting chips between two stacks. When the stacks indicated that the count was in his favor he would place a large wager. Now this isn’t recommended as you are clearly indicating to the security personnel, who are always watching for card counters, that you are counting. Not only are you are even telling them, but you are letting them know what the count is. Even when you count well you are only getting a 1.5% edge over the house. Card counting is not a get rich scheme, you can expect to make about $9 an hour if your hands average $8. Certainly not enough to pay for your trip but knowing you beat the casino is, well like that commercial says… priceless. Find out more at Vegas Blackjack Rules, Win Blackjack or Yahoo Blackjack.

Blackjack, a favorite game for centuries, is sometimes known as “21,” from the French game of Vingt – et – Un. Although its history goes back as far as the 1700’s, along with roulette, it wasn’t until the 1930’s that Blackjack became a popular game. 1930’s Nevada was synonymous with gambling and it was in a Nevada casino that the Blackjack we know today was created. This casino was the first to offer 10 to 1 odds for a hand made up of the Ace of Spades and Black Jack.
Over the years the casinos have made it easier to get a blackjack but they have also lowered the odds to 3 to 2. As Blackjack slowly gained popularity authors began writing books about blackjack.
As books on strategies and tips on how to win playing this exciting game hit the shelves, Blackjack became more and more popular which meant more and more books were published. “The Optimum Strategy in Blackjack,” by Roger Baldwin, delves deeply into probability, statistics, and mathematical compilations.
The “Einstein of Blackjack,” wrote on the subject of card counting in his book “Beat the Dealer.” Other contributors over the years on the study of blackjack include the likes of Stanford Wong, whose book is still considered a valuable handbook on “Professional Blackjack.” The movie “Rain Man” further enhanced the widespread appeal of blackjack. The basic concept of blackjack is to get a total of 21, or to beat the dealer, without going over 21.
There are a number of websites that offer free information to players, as well as online tutorials that will allow you to learn everything you need before playing with real money. Blackjack is not a difficult game, and it can be the casino game with the lowest risk when using a strategy called Basic Strategy.
The casinos welcome players who use the Basic Blackjack Strategy as it can be very difficult to play perfectly and the casino still has a slight edge. It is possible to shift the odds in the players favor when playing Blackjack. To do this the player must be Counting Cards. Counting Cards tracks the value of the deck and allows the player to predict how the cards will fall.
While not illegal, Casinos actively seek out and remove card counters from their premises. multiple decks, card burning and constant shuffle machines have all been introduced to make it more difficult for card counters. There are a number of slightly different versions of Blackjack, each of which has slightly different odds. Adding a deck, allowing a player to double down, no splitting Aces all have a subtle impact on the game. But by paying attention to the rules of the table, a moderate amount of ability and an understanding of when to hit and when to stand with a bit of luck thrown in, you can see some real gains.
